thanks for this topic.
Now that I got my ticket, it's time to find a place to sleep.

I would prefer a hotel near Torwar so that I could just walk and avoid taxis or public transport. Are there some?

Yes, Elle is right.

The closet hotel is Agrykola hotel:

This page isn't in english unfortunatelly. But single room is 62,5 euro, double is 75 euro (quite expensive...)

Another one next to the venue is Solec Hotel:

There's no prices on a web, but there is english version so you can ask them. I suppose that prices are simillar to the Agrykola Hotel.

In that area I didn't find more hotels:-(

there are more hotels in this area, but sort of hyatt or sheraton.....
but still, if somebody's interested - no problem to find out the prices and stuff. =_=

about 'solec' there might be a little problem. [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] i found an information it's been closed since the 15th october '05.......
i'll try to find out what's this all about.

Q1: I would like to know price and availability for a given hotel and city.

A1: Some of our hotels offer instant availability and prices. Those hotels are marked in city database with a text “Instant Reservations”. If you want to check the price and availability please click on booking and follow the prompts.

For hotels that do not have “Instant Reservations” feature – you can check the price and availability by doing the following:
• Click on booking icon on hotel web site
• Fill out a reservation form including details of credit card
• Submit the reservation form
• Within 10 minutes you will get a receipt notice stating that we are processing your reservation
• You will be contacted within 48 hours as to the price and availability

If you want to cancel or change the reservation please fill out the reservation form included on the hotel web site. You can also reply to the confirmation e-mail sent to you to change or cancel the reservation.

So I first have to book and THEN I will get info about the price O_O No, thanks.

Besides, the Solec seems to be closed. I didn't find any website about it.
Sheraton and similar places are a bit too expensive for me, but thanks for your help.

I think I'll take the one in ul. Mangalia if you don't find out anything about the Solec, elle.

So if you like prices, choose this one - it's near the venue. On the map that you can find on its webside, you can see where hotel is and where Torwar is Smile
